Can someone tell me what kind of plating Jennings used on there cabinet hardware and mechanism parts. Some parts look to be painted.

Most all of the older 1920s to 1941 used nickle plating on there machines.

Exterior steel and cast iron parts had nickel plating. The mechanisn and interior cabinet hardware had what is called as clear silver cad plating, still available today.
