mills jackpot mech

hello again....I am working on a mills hightop..I have rebuilt the jackpot mech which has a reserve jackpot.....I took lots of photos when dismantling to allow rebuilding...all works perfect now...my question is...how does it work...I just cant figure it out !....does anyone know where I can see diagrams explaining which levers and springs do what....
any info will be welcome...thanks...Tony

If you are interested in seeing how this device works, just remove the jackpot from the cabinet along with the mechanism. Now carefully line up the jackpot to the relative position it would be in if everything was in the cabinet. you should be able to observe the lever that trips the jackpot. cycle the machine so the three bars line up and watch what happens. If as you say everything is working then you will see how the jackpot trips and how it will reset and drop the reserve. Good luck and post your results. T.J.

Hi TJ...yep that worked...a bit tricky...needed extra hands..now it all makes sense....this is my first attempt at a complete restoration....so now for the main mech....will take a few weeks so will post when done..thanks again...Tony
