Yes it's a 12 year old thread but it COULD HAVE helped others out....

I was 58 in 2011 when I bought the machine (my first and only). In another month I'll be.. well I don't even want to think about it..
But anyway, I always keep ALL my old pictures on my computer, fairly well organized. New computers or new hard drives, I always clone the pics over to the newer hardware. So I was able to update my old posts in this thread, uploading the EXACT same pictures as I had originally posted. Hopefully you find them helpful.

EDIT: I went back and edited my older posts in other threads. It appears that my posts from 2013 and older all had links to files and images located on a web page that I had back then. The sole purpose of that web page was to provide me an online place to upload files for forums such as this one that didn't support direct file uploads. My web page however was hacked several times, and eventually I got rid of it. All pictures I posted in threads here are (I think) now available again.

Glad you're here. Monti send me a few photos as well by PM. That one does help. Is yours a manual-fill jackpot? Mine is a Governor and has a few extra parts in the release mechanism.

The Jackpot never seems to fill automatically. So it's either manual-fill or it just doesn't work properly... dunno.
I have books... but don't have time right now to look through them and send pics or scan.
Maybe later after lunch/shower/TCU Baseball game.

If there's a keyhole on top of the Indian head, it's a manual fill jackpot. That head comes off and is the filling hole.

I didn't realize how close you are to where I was born.... Corona Naval Hospital, formerly The Norconian.... look it up if you don't know of it. My dad was stationed at the Tustin Airship Base. Those giant hangers have gone to hell, but one of them made it to an X-Files episode years back.

Yes I actually used to work near the hangers. The entire base is gone so the road now runs right alongside the "better shape" hanger. UNBELIEVABLE how large they are in person. About two years ago I drove around as much of the base that's left and took numerous photos. If you'd like to see some, let me know. The other hanger isn't in great shape and has been that way for years. Both are historic in that they are among the largest wooden structures in the world.
