Trade Stimulator Restoration

Hello

I have a liberty slot machine as well. When i put a nickel in I pull the handle down which goes down i can hear the mechanism engage but does not release the wheels. Not sure if i am missing a spring or what is causing the issue. I have attached photos of my machine. I greatly appreciate any advice.
