Postby sam2002 » Fri Sep 05, 2014 7:16 pm

Hello
Can someone tell me if the high top ever came with a smooth flat back door ? as opposed to having the rectangular inset .
Thanks
Sam

Here is a link to some pics . I am thinking the back door is a repop , one of the locks is aftermarket and there is no cash box other than that the machine looks legit to my untrained eye .

hmmmm.... with that embossed area around the lock, that possibly may be a buckley back door.
the buckley doors were heavy flat iron, but it has been so long since i had a buckley, that i don't remember the lock area.
i will also say, i have never seen a repro door with any kind of embossing / stamping such as the mills doors, or such as the embossing / stamoing around the lock area as shown on your door.

Jack Brink of Metal Form Products made a lot of those flat doors with the embossed lock area. I still have 1 or 2.
