Hi all
I have just won this machine at an auction
The badge on it says The Rolls Coin Changer, Luton
I have tried internet searchers to try and identify the machine
It is quite heavy, having a cast iron body
Contains brass trays either side
It has a patent number on the badge

There is a coin exchange company in Luton, UK. It might have something to do with that.
I am sure that you have already checked into that. If not, maybe that is a starting point.

Thank you for the information, I’ll look into the company tomorrow.
I have just received the machine today, so early days.
I have been going down the road of looking up Victorian/ early 1900’s engineering companies called Rolls in that area.
Up to press the nearest I’ve got to is a company called Rolls which later became Rolls-Royce.
