Can anyone tell me why this beautiful Jenniings did not sell for the second time?

Second time on eBay and again no bids. You can open this link and then click on full description to read about it. I thought about it the first time around, but ended up buying the Caille Superior before it came back on...
Your thoughts greatly welcomed... Steve

Slot machine values on common machines and, especially, goosenecks are pretty depressed right now.

Rare/desirable machines hold their values but Dutch Boy machines have always been tough to sell.

The seller just started too high; it's a very nice machine, esp with the "escalator" in 25 cent play.
If the starting bid were lower, say $700- $900, it definately would have sold and probably gotten several bids and ended up in the $1300 range, maybe even higher.
Auction psychology; you see it over and over on ebay; start too high, even if others have sold at that price, and the item has a hard time getting off the ground.
