can a melon reel bundle be switched out to gold award???

i was wondering if anybody knew if a melon reel bundle could be switched to a gold award without changing the 3 paydisc. logically it makes sense that the melons could be replaced in the reel strip position with gold award symbols?. any info would be very much appreciated on the easiest way to do this. thanks

I think it is unlikely that the melons and the rest of the symbols would match up properly.

Mills made lots of reel strips with different symbol combinations.

It shouldn't be hard to figure out though. Just match up the symbols on the melon strips with the symbols on the gold award strips.
