it's just a Golden Falls with the Fishmouth coin slot.

I had a really nice $.50 Golden Falls that I bought up in Helena MT many years ago. It also had a fish mouth coin slot and I know for certain that it was not an export model.

When I bought the machine it still had old $.50 pieces in it. The people had other machines (Black Cherries) that I also bought but the Golden Falls was in incredible condition.

Honestly! Where do some people get their information from?

Like so many folk say their Mills machines are 1910 coz of the date on the reel strips.

The fishmouth coin entry was a 1946 development first produced (I believe) on a Black Cherry....

I thought they made a 50 cent Mills Castle Front in the 1930's

Well,,,,,, erm,,,,yeah,, err but obviously I meant apart from that,, and a Bursting Cherry,, and a Roman Head,,,,,ohh-err Mouth before brain engaged. And I only recently sold my 50c Bursting Cherry too,

I did not mention this to the seller, but the Golden Falls was introduced in April 1946;

Yeah, that is quite possible. There was a lot of machines modified after the war.
