Slot Machine Stands

Does anyone have or know of a website with slot machine stand plans? I've seen the ready made stands available online and aside from being expensive, there's also the shipping hassle and I'm not keen on the typically ornate, Victorian style. I'm looking for something simple and clean, a more modern approach. I can make something acceptable but figured others here have tackled the same issue. Thanks.

Check locally in your area for a cabinet maker, then you can get exactly the type you want custom made.

Here is one that I make. I've made about 12 of them so far. Cabinet size is 15 1/4 inches deep by 16 inches wide by 29 1/4 inches tall. The top is 3/4 inches thick by 16 inches deep by 17 1/2 inches wide. I by a premade door and use 3/4 inch oak plywood for the side and back and trim it out with 3/4 inch solid oak in the front to make the door fit. Top is 3/4 inch oak. There is a 1/2 inch trim board on the bottom about 2 inches wide and a 1 inch piece of trim uder the top. Material cost about $90.00

Here is an idea for you. I go to a lot of estate sales. I see many old furniture pieces that can be used as a slot stand. Old record cabinets are a perfect size. Sometimes they will need refinishing.
I am attaching a picture of a stand I have. It was a record cabinet that was probably made in the 30's. I didn't pay more that 10 bucks. It needed refinishing. I had found a piece of stained glass of an owl that looked just like the owl on a Mills decal. I mounted the glass in the door and put Mills decals on the sides.

Thanks gentlemen, those are more along the general style that I'm after. I never thought of checking Craig's for old furniture.
Also, that's a creative use for the owl stained glass. I like it. I think I'm going to keep those in mind and sketch some ideas I have. I'll post the finished product when I finish it.
