Question about a mills machine
Ok I just picked up two slots at the local auction house in Chicago.....the piece I am questioning is the mills bursting cherry brown front. It is 25 cent play everything seems right about it. It has right handle and the proper payout at two Cheryl's pays three. The paint is crackled and worn as is the wood that would be consistent with decades of use. But there is no serial number , no ghost of we're the Mills sticker would have been and the reel strips do not mention Mills. I have another brown front to compare to. This 25 cent play machine seems right....I don't have keys to get into it yet to look at the mech. Now having grown up in the coin industry I ve known that for various reasons coin op machines were made to be sold out the back door with no serial numbers or identification marks. Could this this be one of these machines? Any comments would be welcomed.
