seller asking for more info and i waould be interested too as to whether people think this was an original mills

factory produced or maybe an operator special or maybe a casino chain special?

the top marquee looks to be not a one off but moreso mass produced maybe limited run?

any info would be great or any old advertising images even better

There are so many variations of the Hightop, I doubt if any one person could know them all, except for Dick Bueschel.
There may be guys who collect nothing but Hightops; any on this Forum out there?

This machine may be a special order as the seller suggests, but I doubt it, at least not from Mills.
It looks to be a revamp of the Mills Black Gold Bell (1947)(see Lemons, Cherries and Bell Fruit Gum, page 192).
In the 50s-early 60s. "more than a dozen unconnected and independent firms made Hightops," such as Auto-Bell (see 100 most Collectible Slots, Vol 2, page 131).

I see the auction is over and it got no bids; you may be able to get it direct from seller at a little better price.
