MIlls QT coin mechanism removal

Postby jcrc1 » Sun Jan 26, 2014 9:08 am

Hi,
I have a Mills qt and am waiting foe the operating manual to come in the mail. The coin chute needs to be cleaned as I can see some sticky debris which is stopping the coins at times from traveling freely. I really need to clean out the chute correctly. Does anyone now how the mechanism is removed from the case? unlike the mills escalator, it is foreign to me. Thank you

Jon

The front casting is removed and the whole mech comes out the front.

CAUTION: The small back door must be removed first. The door lock hooks into the base of the mechanism and prevents it from sliding out.
