Was a Mills Castle Front ever made in this color

This machine is for sale locally. I was curious if it was restored with the incorrect color and if there were ever any black Mills Castle Fronts made. In addition I have read on this forum that based on the rectangular award card the style of handle on this machine is incorrect. Is that the case.

Thanks

Yes. Here is a photo of a Castle Front that I had. It was a very nice all original machine. I think it was actually a "Bakers" Castle Front.

I believe that the square award card machine would have had the flat chrome handle. Not sure if this is 100%. Some later square award card machines may have had that style handle.

Mills came out with a black castle front in 1939 - sometimes it is referred to as the last castle front - it had a hand load jackpot - the machine in the second picture is correct.

Were all the Castle Fronts with a hand-load jackpot painted this black color scheme?
