Buckley Bones

I need an assist. I have a Buckley Bones that I purchased about 10 years ago with original parts, has its tokens, etc. It is fully functional, presents VERY well and works fine. My question is how do I get this appraised (yes, I have seen their price increase to well over $15k), and then I will then attempt to sell.
Can somebody provide min/max that they they think it may be worth in as I have only seen old e-bay auction prices.
I live in Los Angeles County so any local appraiser to my area would be appreciated.
I can post or e-mail a picture if needed.

Thanks & regards-

The online antique slot machine price guide ( http://www.AntiqueSlotMachinePriceGuide ) has a list of what the last 10 have sold for on eBay and at other auctions. Just enter Bones in the search criteria.

Since this guide is based on FACTs and not opinion I think it carries more weight. You will need to subscribe to get the prices, but the cost of a (14 day) subscription is less than a formal appraisal would cost and I think it is more accurate. If you do get it appraised, the appraiser should provide a list of what the last several have sold for and guess where they will get the list from ?

FYI, I run the online price guide so I might be a little biased :-D.

Thanks for the ideas. I will proceed as suggested and will probably list it on E-bay shortly. I know one can't get the "full" price going thru a dealer (and I don't begrudge them making a profit as a middle-man), but I think this slot will "move" quickly. :D

Whether it moves quickly or not will come down to one thing.

Price.

Good luck with it.

Thanks. This will be a good test as now have it up for sale. I've received a lot of e-mails and as of today (with 6 days remaining) there are 41 people watching the sale.
