Hello forum members. New to the group. Looking for an original Hershey's vending machine from the 30s/40s. I really like the 1940 Shipman if anyone has any leads. Any help would be appreciated. Would consider any condition...really just looking for a cool decoration for my office. Thanks, Andrew.

In 1987, Bill Enes wrote a great reference book he called "an encyclopedia of collectible gum, candy & nut machines" entitled Silent Salesman.
In 1995, he updated it and published Silent Salesman Too, a greatly expanded version that also included other type vending machines, both books had a separate price guide available as well.
If you collect coin-op, it should be part of your library.

Have you found one yet? I have this one complete and working if you are still interested.
