Mills 4 reeler

I found a couple of Mills Hi Top machines, but both 4 reeler editions.I`ve tried to find information about Mills 4 reelers but can`t really find any.
Are these common or...?
I noticed another collector asking the same question some time ago, and Sega was mentioned,but mine have all the Mills emblems and says MLB and a 4 digit number on the inner castings.
I have a Jennings Buckaroo, which is a 4 reeler as well, so I guess Mills must have made a "competitor" to that model?
Looks like something is missing on the front, would that be a horseshoe?
