Jennings 4 Stqr Hunt Scene

I have a Jennings 4 Star Two Bits machine. It has a wild Indian on the left reel strip and the inside paper says "In and Out". The wild Indian may be after market, but I'm wondering what the "In and Out" feature means?

Wait - it doesnt say In and Out - it says "Odd Even"
