A few years ago I foolishly polished the small brass key for my Superior Cigarette Ball Gum Trade Stimulator. Surprise, it would no longer turn the lock. Took the key to Chicagoland and gave it with my card and $10 to the guy who used to set up at the head of the second aisle on the left as you enered the hall. He was supposed to cut a new one when he got back to his shop to see if a sharper cut would work and send me the key. I haven't been to C'land for several years but had a friend check last year and the guy wasn't set up there either. Tried a phone number I though was his without success. Don't believe this was any sort of scam but just a mix up.
However, would sure like to find him to see if he still has my key.

If it was John Guisti, sadly he died a few years ago.

Thanks for the reply. It could have been him. I think I do have a card for him, but it is probably back in Michigaan and I'm still in Tucson. I will check when I get back. As I recall, the card didn't have a phone number but I found it on the C.O.C.A. member list, but no ans. Too bad he really seemed like a reliable guy. That would explain why he never followed through and disappearded from Chi'Land.
