Dean:
I don't think much goes on in the lot on Thursday anymore.
Friday morning (early) is when most of the people are walking around.
The last few times I have gone to Chicago I have been really disappointed. To me, it was basicailly the sh*t that didn't sell on eBay ends up in the parking lot.

I don't know about others, but I appreciated the direct answer. Thanks, Mike

Actually, you never know what might turn up in the parking lot on Friday. A few years ago, I found a very rare Bowman Dixie Dice trade stimulator for a very reasonable price and another collector pulled out a rare Fey machine last year. As far as I'm concerned, it's still worth getting up ridiculously early and freezing your butt off......

Is anybody else going?

I usually hit the parking lot by 6:30. Late considering some folks get there at 4:30. I did notice that many of the parking lot dealers are in the process of unloading their trucks when I arrive.
Not all dealers setup in the lot. The real nice $$$$ stuff is rolled in when the doors open around 7:30. Your wrist band will get you in at that time. You will notice that folks are standing inside the door watching the items being rolled in.
There are two rooms. The East is where most of the coinop items are found. The West contains IGT slots, new pinball machines & other misc. items.
You are not allowed to park your car in the East lot until you buy the wrist band for the Friday admission of $50.00. Well invested unless you want to fight the Sat & Sun crowd.
Once I have the wristband I move my car to the East lot. This will put you closer to the door for trips back to your car.
