Hey Guys,

I'm looking for anyone that has a can of Rustoleum hammered spray paint in Verde Green. I'd even settle for a partial can.
I'm trying to finish painting a parking meter I've been working on and only need enough to spray the cash box door, roughly 3" x 4".

Why is this stuff so damn hard to find these days????

I actually found several colors of this at Home Depot in Santa Fe and on Amazon. Amazon was more expensive than Home Depot. I don’t know if it is like wrinkle finish where you can get the effect with any color available then do color with regular spray paint?

Thanks Stan for the info. I'll try to check with Home Depot in Santa Fe. I don't see the Verde Green hammered finish on Amazon.
Hammered finish isn't like a wrinkle finish. It has to go on in the color you want.
If you find any other place that has Verde Green hammered paint, please keep me posted.

You may want to fire off a fax to the EPA as well as your states dept of environmental dept.
almost impossible to find this type paints because of the reformulations they’ve instituted!

That was six months ago and the color was silver. Yeah I realized after I said it that you needed the color you wanted cause it wasnt like wrinkle. I’ll check here in Tucson next time I’m at HD . You might call the customer service number at Rustoleum. They might point you to someone who has it. They were very responsive when I couldn’t get the hammertone effect with the can I got on Amazon and refunded my purchases. They were surprised at what Amazon charged. Got another can at HD that worked. So maybe it was old stock via Amazon.

It's still available, Amazon has it, Ebay has it, but limited colors.

I believe that color is being discontinued. Those cans at Fastenal may not even be available.

I think you're right. I thought their site said the paint would be send from Rustoleum. I got an email from Rustoleum basically saying they're not making that paint at this time.
Besides, the price they want rediculous.
