I have looked at my reel strips and found that it looks as though reel strip 1 has been changed out to a different "kind" of strip than the original #2 and #3... Can someone explain the difference?
I have asked Rick Fink to send replacements but was wanting to know more about the strip #'s...
There is a serial # for my machine, #536479, I don't know it's manufacture date.
Thank you all for your wealth of information.

The first reel strips comes from the Mills CH set and the 2nd and 3rd reel strips from the Mills CH Special set. Strips are from two different sets. That's is most likely why they look different.

I understand that the straps are from different sets, how do you determine what reel strips match the actual reels? Rick explained that the “special” set of strips has 5 strips, changing the first strip determines the payout… how does that work unless the holes in the actual reel are different? We’re there different reel bundles? How do you know which bundle you have? I’m confused…

That is hard to determine unless you can actually see the reel disc and figure out what the symbols should be. Reel discs could be changed out the change payout percentages.
