Help with Figure-Character slots

Hello, I am trying to research a couple of figure/character slot machines for a relative and was hoping someone here would steer me in the right direction. I have searched the web and figured out that the one is a gold miner/prospector with a Mills .05 Jewell but I see that these where made by a few different people over the past 60 years. The other looks like the cocktail waitress with a Pace .05 1946? but the base is different than the ones I saw on the web. I was told they were purchased in California at an antique store sometime around the 80's and at that time they had been restored but that’s all I know. On the Miner there is what looks like an A-8 in one shade of black marker and a 12-3 in another shade of black marker . I didn't see anything on the waitress...

Would anyone here know how to tell who made these or have any information about how to tell?

Thanks in advance!

Try going to http://antiqueslotmachinepriceguide.com and do custom searches for things like figurine, miner, etc. I think if you put in a search for cocktail you will find several examples of the Pace.
