Rol A Top Checkerboard
Posted: Tue Dec 08, 2009 11:10 pmI am in the middle of renovating my Checkerboard and I have found what I believe a serialnumber on the wood at the right of the cashbox 96594. I also found the same number on the wood on the right > gable. Is it possible to date the machine through this and find out some history about the machine?
I am also wondering about the text on the coinhead. Just under the text "MADE IN UNITED STATES AMERICA" there seems to be a text written in French "FABRIQUE AUX E STATE UNIS D AMERIQUE". First I thought this machine was exported to France, but I have also seen this text on Watling machines sold on ebay in US.
