Today I bought a Mills 7-7-7 slot with black sides (high gloss) , inside looks brand-new and works amazing. The money box even has a plate in front of it... never seen it.
Does anyone recognize this Mills?

The locking plate in front of the cash box is so that the establishment owner and Operator could split the proceeds when the Operator came in to do the collections. In that way, the establishment owner couldn't take more than his share. Usually, the Operator owned the machine and kept it at the establishment location.

I think the 6D is 6 Denarius (as one of the other Forum members explained to me), which I believe translates to 6 shillings - so a US made machine run in England.

Never seen the plate before in front of the cash box but now I understand, , 6D is clear and ordered some online.
