Home Made Creation?

I purchased a few machines from an older lady the other day. When I was there, she asked me about the machine shown in the attached picture and asked a value of it. I told her it looks like a homemade creation (fairly nicely done) I believe someone used a Jennings baseball as a base donor machine #-o . Unfortunately, the key with the machine did not open the lower door to access the mech. I told her she should ask around $300-400 dollars for it? Does that seem reasonable?

That is a Jennings Electro Vender not often seen but not a lot of value, the last one sold at auction for $600.00 in 2019 on the low end one sold for $2500 in 2017 on the high end, the one you have pictured is missing the base, I only seen them with the base,

Thanks for the replies! I now have a direction to give her as she is just trying to deal with the estate of her 96-year-old father and is a bit overwhelmed. The box on the front is an add-on and was from another Jennings as there is a ODJ tag on it. Also, I guess I learned something as I have never personal seen one of these.
