Looks like a decent machine.

Only negative I see is the castings. They were originally polished aluminum. The person who restored the machine, nickel plated the castings. Aside from being incorrct, the plating shows all the pores and flaws in the aluminum.

Hi...well I went ahead and won this machine.....I am very happy with what I got....being my first encounter with a Bursting Cherry I have a question....the machine was almost empty when I picked it up....I have put maybe a hundred coins in it....the payouts are all correct...I now have coins falling into the cash box....and a couple have landed in the jackpot....I would like to know what determines which coins go in the jackpot and which dont....Thanks for your attention...Tony

Hello again...Being a complete novice it took me a while, but I have found out the problem...the reserve has been topping up ok,but the plate below that is slightly distorted which has been allowing the coins to drop directly into the cashbox....I now have to get into the jackpot mech to rectify the problem....anymore tips will be welcome...thanks again...Tony

Congratulations on getting it. eBay shows zero bids so I assume you got it outside of eBay.

The spring on the top diverter door (in the jackpot) might be to weak to send the coins to the jackpot. That would explain why almost all of them are going to the cash box.

Hi Dave...the machine was relisted without a reserve...I was the only bidder...anyway...I have examined the jackpot mech...all looks ok ..but when I replace the machine in the body it appears to push a lever forward that diverts all the coins into the cashbox....It is obviously something simple to remedy...but as I said before I am a novice...so i will keep looking and try to figure it out....thanks again...Tony

Hello again...finally got it sorted....renewed a couple of the springs as you suggested...also the plate that diverted the coins into the chute was slightly out of line....fixed that ..now working ok...thanks for your input... :D :D
