Slot machine books

Would somebody be able to tell anything about the "Slot Machine Blue Book" (what it covers, etc.)?
There is one available on ebay, Item number: 270388093702, but it seems kind of outdated, so I wasn't sure if it would be a better choice to find a newer copy (If there is any?)
Also, is there a book or any other way to find out the original factory colors of my machine?

The Blue books don't help you much if they are out dated. They aren't that good anyway because because they don't deal with denomination, actual condition, different models, etc. They have the grading system but it's not much good. General pricing is all it's good for. Dave's price guide is the best way because you can see all the different styles and coinage and the most current selling price.

Ask someone to send you a picture of an original unrestored machine.

Here are a couple examples. The Blue Book states a Caille Aristocrat should sell for $7,150 in grade 2 (excellent) condition. The last 5 that have sold at auction have sold for well in excess of $20,000. A couple for over $30,000.

The Blue Book states a Caille Roulette should sell for $31,400 and the last couple have sold at auction well in excess of $200,000

On the other hand, the Blue Book states a Mills Castle Front should sell for $1,580 in grade 2 condition and that is about right.

Some machines have gone way up in value, others have not, and others have actually gone down.
