There are guys who could tell a lot better than me, but I would pass on this one at that starting price. Of course, I don't know what they are selling for in the UK. Since it is found in the UK, you would expect it to take UK money, but some machines do make it across the borders without conversion by servicemen, collectors etc., just raises a caution flag.

Comparing it to the one I have, looks like the back and sides are mismatched; top back bonnet appears to be a repo; hard to tell on front castings from photos, but sellers cautions that they may be repos as well; looks like a Watling mech with replacement reel strips and someone added an electrical counter of some sort.

Hi Jim....thanks for the input....I think all you are saying is about right....I've looked at it again...going to give it a miss....you are right about machines in the UK...most work on old English coinage...a few imports are on US coins....(I have a couple)....anyway..thanks again...Tony
