WHAT IS THIS GUY THINKING????

Postby Midcoast Vintage » Sat Jul 27, 2013 2:04 pm

I HAVEN'T DECIDED IF THIS IS HILARIOUS... OR JUST SAD.
this guy has repro items listed every day, but i think this takes the the grand prize for WTF.
REPRO name and denominator plastic and reward card for jennings chrome chief, and.... MINT ROLLS....
since when did 40's / 50's casino machines , or, any jennings machines from that era have mint vendors?

These guys post all sorts of printed stuff that never existed, and the ones that don't know, actually bid on it.

While we are on the subject. One thing that I can never understand, is why sellers list REPRO printed items to bid on. I have been doing
repro cards & strips for trade stimulators & counter games since the mid 70's, and they all have a flat price. If I were to list them on eBay,
for instance, a $20 set of reel strips, would be $20 to everyone. NO BIDDING. Therefore, you would list 10 or more sets at a time, and let
all persons pay the same. Just like all my mail-order customers. A few years ago, I had a guy order a set of each, cigarette & fruit symbol,
Groetchen "Imp" reel strips, which I originally had printed from mint original sets. Within a week, this clown Repro's my Repro's, and puts
them on eBay. When I called him on it, he said they weren't mine he copied. I know my stuff, as most items have had a very slight change
in an area, that nobody would notice, and these had that change. He did apologize at the time, and said he would pull them, which he
never did. He constantly lists them at $13.99 per set, plus $2.99 shipping. I have even seen people bid a set up into the $35 to $45 range,
which is insane. I have always sold my sets for $10 per set, and FREE shipping. You can mail a set of these strips in a regular letter envelope,
with cardstock protection, for the now 45c rate. This same person also ordered an award card from me at the same time, and copied it, and
put it on eBay. He said the same thing about that, ("it wasn't mine") when I asked him. Well then, what the hell did he order one from me, if
he had another to copy? :^o I MAY HAVE BEEN BORN AT NIGHT, BUT NOT LAST NIGHT!
