I didn't realize Royal Bell did their Castle Fronts in this color scheme. I just went to their website and you are correct they did do them in a similar scheme.

I guess I didn't realize that they had a patent / trademark on the use of yellow and no one else on the planet could do it.

From looking at the picture of the Royal Bell (http://royalbell.com/castle_front.htm) creation I see that their machines have an oval award card, mine has square.

Their machine pays on a single cherry (like almost all fake Castle Fronts) and mine does not (like all original Castle Fronts).

Their machine has a reproduction base, mine has an original.

Their machine has the sword handle which is on all the fakes. Mine has the correct steel handle.

I think the only Castle Front that ever came with the sword handle are the $.50 machines.

I am also betting that the RB machines do not have Mills back doors or Mills locks.

That is impossible to tell but I will defer that to you since you are such an expert on the fakes.

My machine also has a serial number like it should.

Since you are such an expert I am surprised (not really) that you didn't point this out.

Also, how do you know that CoinOpBuyer on this forum is the same person as CoinOpBuyer on ebay? Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. And if he is, so what that he has been registered since 2008? Since your post I also looked at CoinOpBuyer's ebay profile and he has over 1,500 transactions. So again, what's your point? You trying to prove that you can look up someone's profile? Not a lot of skill in that.

For the record, the person who is registered as WhoSignedMeUp also contacted me via eBay and ranted about COPS.

Two last thoughts:

My original point was, that being your machine was not restore with the correct colors. And, to make myself perfectly clear to you, I never said your machine is a fake. It looks like a nice machine, just painted wrong.

And, your comment on your ebay posting also says, “If you are buying a machine from a dealer / collector and they are not a member of COPS then there is probably a good reason. No need to say anything more.” Honestly I take offense to that as well. There are plenty of good collectors and dealers that are not going to pay $20 to use a badge that implies this high standard.

WHOSIGNEDMEUP (as well as a few others recently posting here) is obviously another "armchair expert"... he hasn't, doesn't, and, won't ever get it.
probably related to the 2 composite slot guys... the ones with the blue castle / futurity machine, and, the guy with the cok / lion front... regardless of the facts being presented by knowledgable collectors, still suffer from tunnel vision... as in... we present facts, knowledge, based on fact, and truth... but, they see it their way, and refuse to see the light once shown the facts.
most of these guys, who will take the advice of the guy next door, or, their sister's friend's cousin twice removed, who knew a guy who lived down the street from a fella, who used to bunk with a guy who says such and such, or the guy who says "IT'S RARE!", or, better yet..."the only one ever made" based on the fact that "HE HAS NEVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE"... are so quick to expound very strong accusations and opinions based on little or no knowledge ( some knowledge, but, just enough to hurt them), and, will defend their ineptness to the grave.
they accuse us of being "quick to condemn"... well, yes we are when it comes to fakes destroying our hobby. a machine painted the wrong color is not a fake, and, can be easily changed, or corrected. a machine made up of new parts is a fake, and, always will be a fake regardless of age. yes, it will legally be an antique after 25 years, but, it will still be a fake.
as a sideline, but, an important point... IN MOST STATES, THAT REPRODUCTION SLOT MACHINE WILL BE ILLEGAL, AND IF SHIPPED ACROSS STATE LINES, WOULD BE A FEDERAL OFFENSE ACCORDING TO THE JOHNSON ACT.
NOW, BACK TO THE CLUELESS.... we have all run into the clown in the bar who is bold, and is ready to kick every one's ass, because he has had too much to drink... WE CALL IT LIQUID COURAGE". This is what these guys who hide behind the computer with an alias... which is all a user name is... where for the most part, no one knows who they actually are, can be overly rude, overly bold, and expound there "b.s. based knowledge / opinion" remind me of.
we veterans of collecting are trying to protect the integrity our hobby, and... our investment by openly pointing out fake / reproduction / bogus / butchered machines.
these tunnel visioned " COMPUTER COURAGE" ARMCHAIR EXPERTS ( they aren't just in this hobby... the vintage guitar sites posts, as well as most others have them too) seem more concerned with protecting their INCORRECT / FACT-LESS OPINIONS" rather than the truth.
just imagine having to live in the same household with someone like that! i feel sorry for the families of people like that, living with a domineering know it all that in fact... knows little.
i have been doing machines for around 40 years. my machines have been in many of the books, as well as my name. i do not profess to know all there is about machines, and i am constantly seeking out knowledge on them. i have also noticed that most of the other "old timers" are the same way, and, many of the "newbies" are anxious to learn, but, it really burns me up when these know it all clowns come along that have been doing this for a year or two, and probably never read a book on the subject of coin machines... (let alone completely torn one down to restore / repair... or just clean it up) and there are plenty of them readily available... start expounding their "expertise"... and believe me... i am using that word v-e-r-y loosely, if not jokingly to run down, accuse, condemn the seasoned collector who speaks from knowledge, fact, and experience.
these guys remind me of the clowns that show up at car shows with their boyd coddington "poser-mobile" fiberglass 1932 ford roadsters, and stand there and tell you about your own REAL hot rod. don't bother to give that guy a watch... he will NEVER KNOW WHAT TIME OF DAY IT IS! ASK THEM a technical question about their car... they can't answer it, but, they know all about yours!
these clowns are in every hobby... motorcycles, antique toys, vintage guitars, and on and on.
there are 3 ways to gain knowledge and expertise: 1) read. 2) be shown. 3) personal experience by doing it your self.
before these clowns run their mouth to those who have gained knowledge from any or all of the above methods, they should consider this:
"IT IS BETTER TO REMAIN SILENT AND THOUGHT A FOOL, THAN TO SPEAK UP AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT".

Can you block this guy and others like him from posting on this forum?
I like to log on to this forum to read positive posts from other collectors about their machines whether be slots, trade stimulators, vending or arcade, and I have learned a lot about this hobby from veteran collectors that post on a regular basis.
This guy, who ever he is, is trying to under mine what this forum and all of the knowledgeable collectors are looking to do, promote this hobby through knowledge, experience and advice to present and hopefully future collectors.

There has been several posts about the future of this hobby , and I think that if a new potential collector logged on to this forum and read this post with the accusations that this so called want to be collector has made, it might give he or she a bad impression and might reconsider getting it to this hobby.
