When confronted with an auction like this, a good trick is to email the seller and ask for photos that he would not have unless he had the item. Example: Ask for an interior photo, or one of the locks etc. If he stole the photo from a catalog he would not have them.

However when faced with an auction from a Seller with 0 feedback, foreign, and a private auction, I think you would have better luck getting millions from Nigeria.

Before Ebay did the "blind" bidder thing, I had gotten a lot of second chance offers from a guy in England. I am betting this is the same person.

I am also betting Ebay will do nothing to end this auction.

I just sent him an email stating that I was very interested in it.

I asked him how much shipping would be to Colorado, if he would end the auction early for a given price, and if he could send me a detailed photo of the playfield.

I have been in contact with the guy who listed these items.

I asked for more detailed photos of the Football machine and he sent them.

He is not the owner but acting as a middleman and supposedly new to eBay.

I told him people were suspicious of this listing. I also asked why it is a UK listing since the machine is in the US. He said because of the week dollar.

The whole thing is strange to me.

I also let him know about this forum and this thread and invited him to chime in.
