Looks like a thief in the UK slole the eBay user account. Item is in the UK but the ID is in the USA. Check out this link. I'm going to ask him how the item can be in UK but he is in the US.

Using the Online Price Guide (shameless plug, http://www.AntiqueSlotMachinePriceGuide.com) I was able to get the original eBay listing Id.

I then went to eBay and clicked on the live help icon so I was able to chat with a live body.

I informed the agent that I thought the listing was a scam and gave her the original listing.

She checked the listings right there and said she agreed with me.

She said she would immediately report it to the fraud area and they would immediately contact the high bidder.

I thanked her and said I doubted that eBay would really do that because in the past they have just ignored us. I also gave her a couple listings of fake Nuggets that are being listed. I am sure they will do nothing with these listings.

It was nice to talk (via chat) with a live person at eBay. I still don't think anything will come of it though.

I'm tempted to bid a $1,000,000.00 for this. Dave notified eBay who agreed that is was a fraud. You would think that eBay would at least suspend the account.

I contacted eBay live again.

They checked the file and said someone is actively "researching" it?

I said what is there to research? This is sooooo obvious. You should at least suspend the seller until the investigation is complete.

The agent assured me that someone would email me. I said they never have in the past, why should they now?

What a joke eBay is.

You would need two people to get the price that high.

Actually, that would be pretty funny because the seller would be hit with a huge auction fee.

And, if eBay contacted you about an unpaid item, you could repsond with Thanks for contacting us, we will investigate, but to protect the privacy of the people involved we will not inform you of the outcome.
