VEND-N-SLOT

Is anyone familiar with a VEND-N-SLOT? The plaque on the front says: "VEND-N-SLOT, Brainerd Baxter Corp...",. but it sure looks like a Mills High Top.

Seen them for sale for $500.00 or so. They have mills parts inside but it is not a real slot as we know it.

I saw them years ago (1990's) in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Brainerd Baxter was a Minnesota company that took antique slots such as the High Top in your picture and converted them to token vendors for novelty purposes in tourist areas. They used other antique slots also, besides the High Top.
