Serendipity: a Reliance Novelty Poker Machine

I knew it was a long shot, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. I decided to sign up here and post a want ad for a cast iron poker machine -- Sittman & Pitt, Reliance, or Mills Victor. Incredibly enough, barely a week later a beautiful Reliance is now sitting on my piano.

I've long regretted selling a Mills Victor I owned 30 years ago. I was very pleasantly surprised to see my old Victor on display in the San Francisco Airport Museum exhibit on slot machines 2 years ago (in the intervening years it had gone to the Joe Welch collection). That was the impetus that set me hunting for a replacement, but to no avail -- until I found this forum. Two hours after posting here a deal was made.
