I checked the sellers feedback history. No feedback left from buyer or seller. He said once this is done he will let me know.

I just received a message from the seller of the Busy Bee.

Ron, Feedback has been left so I can inform you of the particulars. I purchased this machine about 2 or 3 years ago at an estate auction in Allegan, MI which is 30 miles northwest of Kalamazoo. It was in an out building/workshop area at the auction and it was just sitting there in a pile. It didn't look that good to me because of the condition (being broken and in pieces) but I have done this long enough to know that even a piece of a coin-op machine that somebody needs could be worth hundreds of dollars (or more). I was prepared to go well over $100 but got it for $65. It sat on the floor of my work room for a couple of years in a pile and I finally ran it with the other gambling stuff that I had. That's all I know. Thanks, Mark

I'm guessing $12-15K on this one.

Why?

Dunno.

Any second-guessers out there?

No second guess on the Busy Bee. On 11/11/2006 one sold for$14,000. I will take a guess on eBay & Pay Pal fees. I think that they are around 20% combined.

The "lull" bid has settled out at $9,212.00. Breaking $18K during the "frenzy" is not unthinkable, but I don't think this will top 16. As usual, I truly have no idea what I'm talking about, but I'll be tuning in for that final 15 seconds fer sure.

I've still got some Keeneys-- anyone care to wager on this BB? I'm saying it'll top $12K but fall short of $16K. If I'm wrong I'm wrong for ten Keeneys. What've you got--?

Oh Holy Moley-- nearly three hours to go and they've already made a liar out of me! How high has this top bidder set his offer??? I can't see the "frenzy" ending below $16K as I had predicted.

On the other hand, the prodigious effort by the challenger to cap the top bidder began and ended three or four hours ago, as if he had to get on a plane for Zurich or something. The TB appears to have re-capped the challenger in his absence. Will he be back, or will anyone else pop up at the last minute? This is interesting...

The challenger returned for the last five minutes or so but the top bidder already had it way up there. Readily broke $16K (so I was wrong) but didn't make it up to $17K. Is this a record price of any sort?

Did you notice that the top bidder from the just closed auction was also the top bidder in the auction for the other machine at start of this thread?
