Thanks for the offer, I am set up to rekey the Yale locks rather quickly. Some that I encountered have been taken apart, missing pins, so I basically reload the locks with pins and get them back to being factory condition.

The DUO locks are the problem with so much variance, just like the mills locks, the different keys that are made are staggering.

I just got another shipment of slot machine locks. Each lock manufacture has it's own unique assembly.

Yale locks are a bugger to shim open with the spool pins. They are a six pin lock, which is unheard of today, and the keys are unique.
ACE locks, well they are held together with a pressed pin and if you don't drill the pin just right you are in a world of poop.
National pin tumbler locks are similar to the Yale.
Mills is not all that bad since I remembered a lot from my youth working on them. The most important thing is making scribe marks for disassembling each lock parts. If not you will be in a world of poop. The variation of Mills locks is another factor that can cause a hiccup also.
The real challenge is the DUO locks, that is the most difficult lock to make keys for with the opposing tumblers, The hidden wire ring holding everything together, it's a nightmare. I am still trying to re-engineer the lock assembly and my options are limited.

The good part is that the customer has sent me some locks that were damaged, this is a excellent source for parts, salvaging other locks.

Well, it's been a interesting journey with these locks, I have got a lot of locks rekeyed.

The DUO is the only one that I can't do much with, they are extremely difficult to work on, I just fit a key to the locks. I had to make a fixture to take them apart and a cylinder set up fixture to assembly them.

These are the DUO locks.

These are the Jennings locks, and some other cabinet locks.

These are Jennings Club Chief ACE locks, Mills locks, and some of the cabinet locks.

A lot of the locks are keyed alike, it's easier to keep everything constant, I have some key blanks coming in so duplicating them will be fast and easy.

This is one fixture to remove the cylinder. You can't remove the cylinder any other way, the lock mechanism is brittle, and will fall apart, I learned it the hard way.

I've gone as far as I can go, I am waiting for the Yale GB key blanks, I ran out of DUO used keys, with 3 DUO locks left.

Seeburg juke box remote stations use the same keyway as the Duo. Apprently the Seeburg version is a propritary item due to the really clean numbe stampings beginning with an "S". Both Duo and Seeburk locks were made by Illinois lock company as I recall. The Seeburg key is a work of art.

DUO is Illinois Lock Company, they have a lot of different locks not just DUO. DUO has been used in most of the coin industry. The wafers are really nasty to understand, you can't make a first fit key using a key blank, the wafers are specific to the original key, mated and a key blank will not fit. With the problem of having a lot of wafers, springs, it can get overwhelming.
