I'll pat myself on the back big time...... I did all the work except the shaft to bracket welding, done by Leon at work.
1262 stop lever connection should have been thinner in each direction.
1254 push levers should have been thicker material.
1263 stop bar actually needed to have the holes off set a little , so it would be closer to the frame. #1 S.L.connection barely touches it.
all holes with a basic drill (not a drill press). all pieces that needed to be bent , were done using a heavy vice mounted on a sturdy table, & a hammer ! (and a little help with a 1/4 inch thick nut for the s.l. connections).
for the push levers, I made a templet to place on each metal pieces ,then etched around it. Then used a few different table top grinders to shape it to the etched lines. And again , bent in a vise.
micro blasted some of the parts. most of the cutting done on a band saw. all shaping with grinders.
much use with hand files for burrs.
shaft & spacers were stuff found a work in the "scrap pile". yep, a multi million dollar company ,& we have to make are own stuff from time to time.
