The Jennings Prospector has a 1000 coin super jackpot.

That would be $250 for a quarter machine.

I think the normal jackpot on a Prospector is 100 coins which would be $25 on a quarter machine.

Both jackpots were paid in coins, not tokens or hand pay.

The Prospector is a very cool and desirable machine.

Thanks Dave. You really know your machines. Theres a prospector on ebay right now but the owner wants 13,500 for it. Its a console style. I dont think I could ever afford that. Do you happen to know jackpot amount for sun chief/star chief in quater denomination?

I think most Sun Chief style machines jackpots would hold close to 100 coins in their jackpot. So the jackpot would be around $25 on a jackpot.

I looked at the Prospector and I know the guy who is selling it. He has very nice stuff. Like I said before, Prospectors are very desirable machines. I have an original dollar and an original quarter Prospector in my collection.

The quarter machine still had the original owner's manual and replacement light bulbs in the back when I got it. The machine came out of Wyoming and was put in storage when it was almost brand new (along with a bunch of Cherry Front Rol-A-Tops).

Lucky You. thanks for all your help. I recently bought the Repro war eagle that was listed as a repro on ebay. Supposed to be here wednesday. Coming UPS. Hope they handle carefully. I read what you guys said about them. This will be my first machine. hope the escalator is real. I did not know people were faking those. Did not ask seller because it looked real. Paid 685.00 for machine. If it works properly do you think I got a fair deal. Thanks.

The Mills Mystery Front (Castle) has a twin jackpot version. It should easily top 100 quarters.

The twin jackpot Castle Front only dumps one side at a time. I don't think each side will hold 100 coins.

However, Mills made a Handload jackpot which should easily hold 100 coins. They also made a handload Golden falls and some other models.
