Mills 4 Bells

Could anybody give me some advice on the electrical aspect of a Mills 4 Bells?I can make the slot mechanism work great but I am not gifted in the electrical field.The immediate problem is a hum/buzz in several of the numerous relays.

It is very difficult to make old relays stop humming. That is just what they do.

You could try taking a matchbook cover put it between the contacts, press the contacts together and pull the book out. This will remove buildup on the contact.

There are also burnishing tools but it is easy to make the humming worse if you are not careful.
