Hi from the wet and windy UK!! Well thats all us English go on about!!

Looking forward to hooking up with you guys on a hobby I have been doing for just over 10 years now, its been a bit on and off with other commitments, as I am sure you all know!!

I am into Slots (mainly) but do have Stims, Vends and English Wall Machines.

I have nearly finished a project I have been doing for a couple of years now - Maybe one of you guys could just clarify a point for me - Should the coin entry on a 1930's Mills Lion Head be Chromed or Brass as I have been looking at many pics on the net and it seems to be a real mixture? I think it looks better chromed.

L. N. Vauquelin discovered the element chromium in 1797. Chromium was first used as chrome plating in the 1840s, according to Ask a Scientist. The process was not perfected until after 1900.

I didn't know that ! I beleived than chrome plate appears in 40's in industry.

The goose neck should be nickel and not chrome. And yes, chrome was being used in 1932. Although most parts were stainless or nickel plated, Henry Ford chrome plated the bumpers on 1932 Fords.
