Need help identifying a Buckley slot machine part

Postby bakerb95619 » Mon Jun 14, 2010 6:14 pm

I just received a 5c Buckley Criss-Cross slot machine via FedEx. The packaging was excellent so it arrived in good shape, however the part below fell out and I can't see where it belongs. It has 1 threaded end, a notch at the other end, and a small hole 3/8 of an inch from the notched-end. It is 2" long:

There is also a larger broken spring. I see the same springs on the back of the mech, but can't see where it would be missing from. The spring is 2 1/2" long (total):

The pin looks like the pin that holds the vertical finger reset.

The spring looks like the spring that is connected to the clock.

Hello Dave, thanks very much, the pin was to hold the payout fingers at the back. That explains why every pull was paying out 18 coins, winning combination or not.
I had to find a small nut and lockwasher for the pin, but I got it all back together and all payouts work correctly now including the token vendor for BAR-BAR-BAR.
Thanks again,
Bill

Yep, your right. I forgot about the pin for the horizontal payout fingers.

Did you find where the spring went?

No, didn't find anywhere for teh spring. I have another Buckley machine and checked it's mech, and couldn't find anywhere for the extra spring. Maybe it was replaced with another one before I received it.
