Bally baby

Hello. I have a question. Since last week i am the owner of a bally baby trade stimulator. But now's my question: on the backdoor on the right side of the lock there's a hole in the backdoor. Does anybody know what that is for?

Hole in back door is for gumballs.

A bally baby has no posibility to put gumballs in it...
