jennings prospector model

hello,

am new to the forum.

just bought a number of machines, a number of models i have

never had before so some questions if anyone can help with info

that would be great.

right,

the jennings prospector is only the cabinet and castings, eg

no mechanism and it has been removed from a console of

some type. i am aware that it had a larger jackpot with the

two additional coin displays either side of standard jackpot,

[grub stakes?] anyway, there was a e/m flashing light above

the standard jackpot, which was only lit part of the time. If you

hit the jackpot without the light visible you only won the standard

jackpot, ie the jackpot attached to front of the mechanism. however

if the red light was showing when the jackpot was hit, then you won

the standard jackpot plus.......well i thought both side pots dropped

into a drawer underneath, which was opened by an e/m switch linked

to the redlight.

now finally to my question....i know its took a longtime to get here...

on my cabinet as you look at it, there is a hole cut out below the glass

panel to the left of the jackpot to presumably drop the extra jackpot

window....BUT there is no corresponding hole cut in the cabinet base on

the right hand side?

did the prospector only payout x1 extra window and not both or is my

cabinet different for some reason?
