I was just bored and thought I'd put a couple of machines from the UK on for people just to look at. the bottom two are pictured before restoration
the top one is a Bryan's 12 win clock with jackpot from 1947. This is pictured after i restored it, the case was completly wrecked so I tried something new, Ronseal 'paint and grain' with which you paint the wood the basic wood colour then use a second paint with a stiff spreader to simulate the grain, I think it worked well!
the second one is also German ,a Rotamint super from about 1960, i love this machine with its plastic numbers and early use of stop ,start buttons
The bottom one is a 1967 Gunter Wolff 'International Grand Prix' this has some very interesting features and more moving parts than a jumbo jet.
the reels feature grand prix racing cars and the flags of the racing countries. Payouts are as per 1st 2nd and 3rd and the winning combos show up on 5 window slots. Unusually the reels turn sideways and not top to bottom. As well as the coin slot on the right there is a change giver (1 play+4 1p) on the left side. I really like this machine but i'm no electric wizard so sadly i'm selling it on.
