I'm not getting into a row either, I'm only asking, for the third time: do you know of any remanufacturers of Caille bell machines or any examples of faked Caille Superior mechanisms, anywhere, ever? I quoted you in full above and then requoted the portions I was most keen on; in the context of the final portion of your remarks which you aren't repeating here, you sounded very certain that GPs were or are being remanufactured, stating that I'd have to be kidding to deny it. I promise I won't repost those words out of context.

One of the reasons I collect Cailles is that I feel certain nobody would go to the trouble of remanufacturing or faking them, aside from some recast cabinet aluminium which is easy to spot. If frauds ever took it so far as to remanufacture Superior mechs, I want to know all about it.

Im not getting into a row over this ,i was only making a suggestion. I do take exception to you taking my quote out of context, what i actually said was

'I assume you are sure all of the machine is original otherwise it would seem the best answer is it was converted to 25c at a later date'

which would ofcourse make sense AND infers your machine is for real. if im wrong im wrong but dont try and bend the words
