I had to replace the clock mechanism. Bull gear was stripped. Now when i try to play it just clunks. One reel might spin. I have looked and looked and can’t find problem. I’ve adjusted the I’ve regressed every thing. 1/4 inch rod. Looked over and over what am I missing

Try a little experiment: apply a tiny bit of Loctite (superglue) to the points at which the fan vanes connect to the spindle on the clock. Why? Because, if the vanes are not very tightly secured to the spindle, your clock will just lurch under the tension of the start of the cycle and your mech will just "buck" as it recoils. I have encountered this problem at least twice in the past, and it sounds like the problem you're complaining about.

When I get clock back I’ll try that. I’ve sent to a man I’m sure y'all know in Florida I appreciate all the responses. I do have a video but having trouble downloading it. I’ll keep trying
