I believe the seller might be a member of this forum; just want to inform him that the machine in the pictures is actually a 1935 Caille Doughboy, not a 1936 Cadet... and there might be just a little more money in a Doughboy than a Cadet.

I don't know if I can stay away from that one, just an hour and a half up the road. My two Cadet's are nickel, wish it was a different denom.

True Not a Cadet! I was just on EBAY I have one just like it that's green... Interesting machine I must say. Mine was a parts machine that someone put back together and sold to me... Eather, it had missing, broken, wrong parts or who knows what else. Test it first and be sure everything is still there if nothing else. Offer him $200.00 less I think he might take it... If you do buy it show pictures of the mechanism...

Uggh....those hydraulic pumps. There used to be a guy that rebuilt them and would do a swap when you sent yours in. I had a Play-Boy that we did a swap on may years ago. is anyone still working on them these days?

Cory and Squires in CA did have rebuilt regulators and would swap for $300.00 with your old one. I've cleaned and repacked the needle valve where it leaked with thread, like old steam valves. I used high quality brake fluid for refill.

I rebuilt my Caille Commander timing pump. Not a lot of information out there. Crack it open and clean it really well. Take the case and shaft to Ace hardware and find a seal for the shaft and gasket for the top. Take the needle valve out and fill it with brake fluid. Put as much as you can in, and reinstall the pump. I had to lay mine on the side and add more brake fluid. Works great
