Mills High Top - 1st purchase

I am new to Mechanical Slots and I just purchased this Mills 25 cent High Top - don't know much about it but I'm learning a lot.
I have a few questions -
Does anyone know what year and model I have?
I have heard Use as well as Don't Use Wd40 for lubricating. I've also heard 3in1 or canola oil as well as synthetic auto oil. What is the best thing to use?
Is there a good site to see videos of how to clean and oil a machine?
I have also noticed in playing other than a single 2 coin payout it sometimes pays 1 extra coin about 65% of the time. How can I fix this?
Also the elevator teeth are missing so it only holds the first coin loaded. Where can I find a Coin holding bar replacement part for the escalator?

Over a year later...
Did you get this machine up and running? Sadly this forum has really slowed down, due to a number of reasons. WD40 is more of a solvent. I use it for cleaning. 3 in 1 is used by a lot of people and a heavier grease is used for the "busier" moving parts. Frequently problems arise from a build up of TOO MUCH grease. And, NEVER put any lubricant on the coin slides. They need to be kept clean.

Still THIS forum is the best place to simply search for information from previous posts which also can have very good photos. Do a search of "coin slide" and it should give you some great information, photos and great diagrams, especially the information from Monti.
