slot works without coin, Why???

i have a jennings dime slot that all of the sudden, you don't need a coin to pull the arm. Any ideas how to fix it???

If it's playing without a coin...check the coin detection pin. It's located right behind where to coin will rest after inserting it. It should be in line so a coin drops in front of it (not by much) and the pin will hit the coin when the handle is pulled. the pin may be hitting another area instead of the coin.
